Each accredited course is made up of a number of different modules (subjects). Each module carries a number of ECVET / ECTS (credits) and in order to graduate from a full qualification you will need a minimum amount of such credits. For more information about your course diet you should visit the page with details once all results are inputted (including re-sits), your results are automatically calculated. If you achieve enough credits to graduate you will receive official communication from the Registrar’s office in connection with the Graduation ceremony and you will also be issued with a Blockcert.
If you failed a module in your previous academic year it is extremely important that you make sure you repeat it as otherwise you will be unable to progress to the next level course / academic year. To add repeat modules to your timetable you should send an email to scheduling@its.edu.mt. In this email your request must include your name, surname, course and correct name of pending modules. You shall receive an updated timetable within two (2) working days.
Any such requests are to be done in writing via email to registrar@its.edu.mt.
Timetables are very dependent on various variables, including how many students apply for the course, availability of lecturers, availability of rooms and labs, etc… This means that timetable build-up is usually a lengthy process which can only be concluded after all applications close. In most full time courses lecturers are usually held between Monday and Friday and an official timetable is usually issued at least one (1) week before the commencement of the upcoming semester. In some instances further changes may be applied to timetables so an updated timetable may be issued later on which would replace the older one.
A generic exams timetable is issued three (3) weeks before the date of the first exam. At a later stage you shall also receive a personalised timetable including your index number and the venue for your exams.
We do not offer transport during the day but there are many major bus routes provided by the public transport close to the Institute.
Arrangements for transport will take place for evening sessions. It is important to talk to your lecturer to guide you when in such sessions.

ll students with issues on attendance percentages will receive alerts so they can regulate themselves. ITS endorses a very clear regulation on attendance requirements and these may be found on our Rules & Regulations page here.
Unless otherwise directed by the Institute there are a total of two examination sessions, one at the end of each semester and resits sessions. For further information on dates take a look at the Academic Calendar by clicking here.
Results are received via email as soon as all results are submitted to the Registrar’s Office and processed. This usually means that results are published three to four weeks after the end of each semester.
