Students are required to wear the correct ITS uniform on campus, including during their journey to and from the Institute. The correct uniform needs to also be worn during any outings, site visits, placements exposure and on-site practical sessions.

Full details on the uniform may be found on the Rules and Regulations.

The following are guidelines for the Institute’s uniform, which students may purchase from any store of their choice.

Suit Uniform

  • Navy blue jacket fully lined inside
  • A classic cut single-breasted design
  • Two buttons opening, blue button, notch lapels
  • Normal sleeve (no gathers)
  • Welt pocket with flap
  • Matching with trousers and waistcoat
Shirt Image

Shirt

  • 100% cotton classic shirt with point collar
  • Long-sleeves for winter and short-sleeves for summer
  • Buttoned cuffs white
  • Non-textured material, no pockets
  • Buttons to beeighter transparent or white
  • Shirt to be tucked in trousers/skirt and buttoned up

Students may choose to wear either trousers or a skirt as part of the dress code. The guidelines for each are as follows:

  • Navy blue suit modern slim fit trousers
  • Zip and button fastening
  • Non-textured finish
  • Matching with jacket and waistcoat
  • NO low rise
  • NO crop
  • NO rolling of trousers
Shirt

Skirt

  • Navy blue pencil skirt preferably fully lined which falls to knee or longer
  • High waisted with concealed zip fastening at the back or side
  • No pockets, no stretch material and slit to be at the back
  • Non textured finish
  • Matching with jacket
  • To be worn with plain, black or skin-coloured stockings
Vest

Waistcoat

  • Navy blue
  • V-necked
  • Short sleeve

Students may choose to wear either a tie or a scarf as part of the dress code. The guidelines for each are as follows:

  • NO trainers are allowed
