Applying for Visas
The ITS's International Department (ID) guides international students who require a visa. The primary purpose of the ID is to welcome international students at the Institute of Tourism Studies and help them adjust to life in Malta. There are various ways in which our office helps international students.
Before Student Arrives in Malta
- Presents letters that kickstart their visa process.
- Connects students with residences that offer accommodation.
- Communicates with Identity Malta to ensure a smooth path for ITS students applying for a student visa.
After Student Arrives in Malta
- Help students acclimate to Malta.
- Connect with students regularly to help with any needs
- Help students apply for the student visa with Identity Malta.
Application Process
- After submitting a successful application online through the ITS website, the student shall receive the acceptance letter from the registrar.
- The ID then contacts the embassy via e-mail to kickstart the application at the embassy.
- Once students pay the first semester fees, the ID sends a more detailed letter to both Identity Malta and the student.
- When the student arrives in Malta, the ID shows them around campus and helps them find the closest amenities to their flats.
- The ID also assists non-European foreigners in applying for a student visa.
