The Student Peer Referral Scheme aims to incentivise current students and alumni to actively participate in the ITS recruitment process. Referrers are encouraged to leverage their personal networks to attract prospective students. Their firsthand experience with the institution provides a unique opportunity to promote ITS courses to students exploring their future careers.

To be eligible, the referred student must include the referrer’s name and email address at the time of application. ITS will then verify the referrer’s status as a current student or alumnus before proceeding with any rewards.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility:

  • Only currently enrolled students and verified alumni of the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) are eligible to participate as referrers.
  • ITS reserves the right to verify referrers' enrollment or alumni status before issuing any rewards.

Referral Rewards:

  • Referrers will receive a referral fee contribution equal to 12% of the enrolled course fee when a referred student successfully enrolls.
  • Referred students will receive an 8% discount on their second semester tuition fee.

Disbursement of Referral Fee and Discount:

  • The referral fee will only be paid if the referred student remains enrolled and actively attends classes for the first six (6) weeks of the semester.
  • The tuition discount will be applied to the referred student’s account upon successful enrollment.

Payment Limits and Conditions:

  • The maximum referral fee is EUR 500 per student for further education courses and EUR 1,000 per student for higher education courses.
  • The referral fee amount is determined based on the actual payments received from the referred student (quarterly or annually).

Prohibited Actions and Fraud Prevention:

  • Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. A student cannot refer themselves or use another person’s details to claim benefits.
  • Referrals must be genuine. If ITS determines that a referral was made through misleading, coerced, or fraudulent means, all rewards will be revoked, and the individuals involved may be subject to disciplinary action.
  • If a referred student withdraws, drops out, or is terminated for any administrative reason, the referral fee will not be paid.
  • A student may only be referred once — multiple referrers cannot claim the same individual.

Limitations on Participation:

  • Each referrer can earn a maximum of three referral rewards (for three different students).
  • A student may receive a referral discount for up to three different courses under this scheme.

A referred student is considered successfully enrolled when they:

  • Receive an official acceptance letter from the registrar.
