Events

To kickstart the scholastic year, the Institute of Tourism Studies holds a Freshers' Event. This event is a vibrant and welcoming celebration designed to help new and returning students connect and feel at home.

Third-party companies are invited to attend the event and set up stands, offering students the opportunity to interact and network. These companies provide valuable insights into the industry and allow students to build connections that can aid their professional development.

Apart from external companies, there are also important departments that students meet throughout the year, such as the Student Support, the Erasmus Department, and the Internship Department. This interaction allows students to connect with familiar faces right from the start of the semester.

Usually held in the Green Area (weather permitting), the event features a lively atmosphere. During the event, there is usually also fun activities held by companies as well as the Student Council to create a fun vibe for the start of school.

This makes the Freshers' Event a perfect way to begin the academic year, fostering networking, interaction, and a sense of community among students!
